Custom-made hearing protection, molded to your ears for the perfect fit, in the color(s) you want and possibly decorated with pictures and glitter. We love doing it because we know we can make you really happy. And it shows, because now customers come to us even from abroad! In order to help as many people as possible, we have a hearing protection walk-in every Wednesday and Saturday.
How does the hearing protection walk-in work?
Very simple: you can just walk in during the hearing protection walk-in without an appointment. We will be ready to help you. The hearing protection walk-in is at the following times:
Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
You’ll get a nice cup of coffee, tea or lemonade, pick out your picture(s) and glitter(s) if you wish, and then you’ll stop by the audiologist for your personal hearing protection. First, of course, we want to know what they should be for: sleeping, swimming, work, concerts, motorcycle riding, events…. it’s all possible, and sometimes you can even exchange the filter so the hearing protection can be used for multiple purposes!
Then you get a small cotton ball with a wire in your ear, so we can also remove the impression from your ear, very convenient. Then we fill the ear with a kind of paste and let it dry for 5 minutes. Then we remove the impression and it goes to our specialist who further finishes it into personal beautiful perfectly fitting earplugs. You can read how the whole process works here.
Swim caps are ready the next business day, all other hearing protection is delivered after about 14 days. We would like to invite you back to our store to make sure they are comfortable and measure them again just to be sure.

By car
From the N203/N8/Provincialeweg take the exit to Iepenstraat. This turns into the Weverstraat after 190 meters. Follow this road for another 550 meters and then turn right to the Heiligeweg. You will find Horend Goed on your right after 83 meters.
By public transportation
Bus stop Heiligeweg can be reached by buses 69 (Krommenie Station – Zaandam Station) and 414 (Krommeniedijk – Oost Knollendam). From here, walk 50 meters along Eikelaan to the south-southwest and turn left onto Heiligeweg. Horend Goed is on your right after 83 meters.
