Beltone hearing aids

Beltone’s vision is that your hearing aids should adapt to your lifestyle, not the other way around. They provide all types of hearing aids, from complete in canal to behind the ear, which allows them to meet the needs of almost any client. In addition, they are known for their apps, which allow the hearing care professional to adjust the hearing aid remotely. That way you don’t have to come back especially! Will a Beltone hearing aid fit me?

Unfortunately, the answer to this question is not easy to give. Whether and which hearing aid suits you is different for everyone. It has to do with your needs, including your degree of hearing loss, and your wishes, for example the functions and type of hearing aid. If you want to know whether a hearing aid is right for you, you are welcome to visit our hearing care specialists in Krommenie, who will gladly provide you with honest and sincere advice. What does a Beltone hearing aid cost?

The cost of each hearing aid depends on a number of factors: the hearing protocol, your (additional) health insurance and your deductible. It works as follows:

The hearing protocol

The hearing protocol describes how a hearing care specialist (i.e. us) should provide a hearing aid according to the Health Insurance Act. By means of a questionnaire, hearing test and conversation with the hearing care specialist, you are assigned to one of five categories. This category represents your degree of hearing loss and the related necessary needs you have. If you choose a hearing aid from the category in which you have been classified, the health insurance will reimburse (part of) the costs.

Basic insurance reimburses up to 75%

Three quarters of the cost of your hearing aid(s) will be reimbursed from the basic insurance, provided you have no outstanding deductible. If you still have this, it will be used first and the health insurance company will reimburse the remainder up to that 75%.

25% is own contribution

The remaining 25% is called the co-payment, which you pay in the basic case. However, it is often possible to take out additional insurance for this. Do you have supplementary insurance for the full co-payment and no longer have a deductible? Then your hearing aid is free.

Our audiologists always calculate for you in advance what a hearing aid will cost you, so there are never any surprises.

An out-of-category hearing aid

It is possible to choose a hearing aid that is not covered by the hearing protocol. We call this an out of category hearing aid or a hearing aid from the private market. These are generally the more advanced hearing aids with extended(er) features. Because these features are not considered necessary, the hearing aid does not fall under the protocol, but it may of course be the case that you like and want these features. You can still choose this hearing aid. However, if you choose a hearing aid from the outer category, you will pay for it entirely yourself.
